![]() I don't want to start any arguing by the way, so please take my message lighthearted :) Just trying to clear some stuff up and help you out my manĮdit: Also, if you're interested in how you can check if a file 'truely' is 320kbps, look up a program called Spek. ![]() I hope I've cleared something up, this also explains why /u/liftylol said 'you could chose 12 million kbits but youtube doesnt give that quality' because in reality the site you're using is just giving 320 lables to songs to get more people to use their site if you get what I mean. If you really care, look for a download link or buy a song but if you don't really care, your site will be just fine I think. ![]() The main thing is though, how much do you care! Most of the people won't even notice the difference between 320 and 128, unless you play them side by side (even then it's hard for most). I've made the same mistake for 2 years, my whole musiclibrary consists of all these 128 files that are 'labled' as 320 because I thought you could get that quality from YouTube and Soundcloud. The quality of audio you hear on soundcloud is 128kpbs, so unless the uploader provides a download link, the maximum quality you can get is 128kbps unfortunately. It means that it tries to get the highest quality possible, sure, but even though your file may tell you that it's a 320kbps file, it's impossible to be better than 128kbps, because it's ripped. You gotta understand that 'your' site rips music from YouTube and all those other sites you mentioned. No worries, I just saw that you guys were talking about two different things so I thought I'd step in hahaĪnyway, I'm a bit confused about your message so I'm going to explain something now that you might already know haha, if so my bad: Want to have an AMA on /r/trap?
